StyleSeat costs $35 per month for beauty professionals. That includes online booking, payments, client management, marketing tools, and a profile where new clients can discover you.
Some optional fees apply—but only when you use a feature that earns you more revenue or brings you a new client.

Why is there a new-client fee?
Because StyleSeat does more than organize the clients you already have. We run advertising for your business so new clients find and book you.
When StyleSeat brings you a brand-new client through New Client Connection, the fee is 30% of that client’s first appointment, with a maximum fee of $50. All future appointment revenue is yours.
That fee:
- Applies only to the first appointment
- Applies only when StyleSeat brings you the client
- Is never more than $50
- Does not apply to that client’s future appointments
If the client becomes a regular, the relationship—and the future revenue—is yours.
You can also turn New Client Connection off if it is not right for your business.
What is Smart Pricing?
Smart Pricing helps you earn more during your most popular appointment times.
When demand is high, Smart Pricing can increase the price a client pays. StyleSeat charges 5.5% of the service price, capped at $16.50, and you keep the rest of the additional revenue.
Professionals using Smart Pricing earn an average of $7,200 more per year. It is optional and can be turned off.
Does StyleSeat take 30% of every appointment?
No.
The 30% fee applies only to the first appointment with a new client StyleSeat brings you through New Client Connection. It is capped at $50 and does not apply to returning appointments.
Clients you bring to StyleSeat yourself are not New Client Connections.
Do clients pay a booking fee?
Clients pay a $2.35 booking fee when making an appointment. This supports secure booking, reminders, customer service, and continued improvements to the booking experience.
It also helps clients commit to their appointments. StyleSeat has found that the booking fee reduces no-shows by more than 80%.
