Study the list and note their age, gender, social demographic, and services they usually get.<\/li>\n<li>Are they wealthy? Are they price conscious? Are they millennials, seniors, or professionals who work around the corner? Do they visit you at certain times?<\/li>\n<li>After you\u2019ve created your \u201cideal client\u201d profile, begin your marketing strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><strong>ATTRACT THEM<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ask for Referrals:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Send your top clients an email (in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.styleseat.com\/join?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_medium=Social&amp;utm_content=HowtoAttracttheRightClients\">StyleSeat<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Let them know how much you appreciate their business and give them an incentive to refer a friend (ie: 10% off next cut).<\/li>\n<li>Your ideal clients will refer you to other clients who are like them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marketing:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Are your clients millennials or tech savvy? Run \u201cback to school\u201d specials, \u201cfinals week\u201d specials, and \u201cprom\u201d specials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Update Your Business Page:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Highlight services that get booked more than any others.<\/li>\n<li>For example, if you\u2019re an esthetician but your ideal clients are mostly booking brow waxes, show those brow skills off!<\/li>\n<li>Post more brow photos, put \u201cbrow specialist\u201d in your bio, and ask clients to leave reviews after brow services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><strong>RAISE YOUR STANDARDS<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When it comes to clientele, quality is better than quantity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take a look at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.styleseat.com\/blog\/difficult-clients-cost-us-money-which-type-do-you-\">t<b><strong>his list<\/strong><\/b><\/a><b><strong>&nbsp;of difficult clients<\/strong><\/b>&nbsp;&#8212; if you have clients who are chronically late or are loud and rude, they can ruin the image of your salon. \u201cIdeal clients\u201d won\u2019t be able to take you seriously if you tolerate this type of behavior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember, marketing to a smaller group of clients is about your long term goals.
