It does well \u2014 saves, a couple of shares, three people asking what you charge. In the caption you&#8217;ve put the only link you have, which goes to your profile, which is a grid of everything you do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She lands there wanting the retwist. She scrolls past a bridal updo, two silk presses and a set of knotless braids, can&#8217;t work out which of your services is the thing in the photo, and closes the tab. You didn&#8217;t lose her because of the post. You lost her in the four seconds between the post and the booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The short version<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Every service can have its own bookable page<\/strong> \u2014 one service, its photos, its reviews, your live calendar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>One photo opens it up.<\/strong> A service needs at least one photo tagged to it before you can share its link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You copy the link yourself<\/strong> from Marketing Suite \u2192 Booking Links \u2192 Service links.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>That&#8217;s the link for your bio and your captions<\/strong> \u2014 she arrives with the service already chosen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What a service booking link is<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A service booking link points at one single service instead of your whole profile, and opens a page built around that service: the photos of that work, the reviews that mention it, the price and the length, and a Book Appointment Now button sitting on top of your real availability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your profile is a menu. Every service you offer is listed under <em>Share your services<\/em>, with a search box for when your menu is long, and a <strong>Copy Link<\/strong> button on each one that&#8217;s ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some will be greyed out, and the rule for that is a simple one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One photo unlocks a page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A locked service says it plainly: <em>a minimum of 1 photo is required to unlock page<\/em>, with an <strong>Add &amp; Tag Photos<\/strong> button next to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not ten photos, not a portfolio \u2014 one photo, tagged to that service. Which means the fastest marketing hour available to you this week is going back through the work you have already photographed and tagging each shot to the service it shows. Every tag you add turns a greyed-out row into a link you can drop into a caption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s also why tagging matters twice over. A tagged photo makes your work findable by a client searching for that service, and it&#8217;s what makes the page shareable in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where the link goes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The link in your Instagram bio should be the service you are best known for, not your profile. The link in a caption should be the service in that photo. If you post a knotless braids set, the caption gets the knotless braids link \u2014 not your general page, and not a &#8220;DM me for prices&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same link works in a text to a client who asked about one service, in your linktree, on a business card QR code, in your email signature. Under that, <em>What clients are saying<\/em> \u2014 and it puts a review of that specific service first where you have one, which is a different and better argument than a general five stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then a <strong>Book Appointment Now<\/strong> button that stays with her as she scrolls, opening your actual calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The four seconds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What you&#8217;re really doing here is removing a translation step. You know that the photo is a retwist, that a retwist is three hours, that it&#8217;s a different service to a wash and style. She doesn&#8217;t. She saw hair she liked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every second she spends working out which line on your menu matches the picture is a second she might spend closing the tab instead. You have spent years learning to make the work beautiful.
